story story is a three-day digital festival comprising commissions , workshops and films. the festival aims to amplify the voices of emerging writers, poets, and theatremakers, while equipping them with the knowledge and skills needed to share their stories with the world.

day one of the festival will include an opening performance and an open conversation exploring the theme of archiving memories through storytelling. 

day two will consist of workshops ranging in focus from strengthening creative skills like theatre-making, sound, and set design, to developing more administrative skills like writing grant applications and artist bios. workshops will be led by members of the an evening with verse writer team, as well as other creative industry leaders. 

day three of the festival will consist of the premiere of lanaire aderemi’s debut film an evening with verse writer: a documentary by lanaire aderemi and call & response, a short film starring story story festival’s commissioned artists.
